  • Do you have a favourite spot you visit with your dog? Unable to come to Squamish (I totally get it, Squamish is far!)? I am happy to come to you! (There may be a small travel fee for locations +150km away.)
  • Up to 2 hours on location

We will never have enough time with our pets, and having to say goodbye is never easy. Losing Sully so suddenly made me so grateful to have captured so many photos of him during our time together, and I want to be able to provide the same for others. Whether it is at your home, or a favourite location, this session is focused on capturing tangible memories of you and your pet, and celebrating your relationship.

Included in your session:

  • No time limit, and no attendee limit
  • You will receive a gallery of all of the successful photos from the day
  • Photos can be used for social media and website content
  • You are welcome to share the gallery link with the attendees
  • At this time, I will not be charging attendees for photos; however, this may change in the future
  • I come to you! (no travel fees required)
  • All attendees will receive a $25.00 credit to be used within 1 year of the walk date
  • I may have a second shooter on site with me, depending on the size of the group

Does my dog have to be off leash?

Absolutely not! Leashes and collars (and you!) can easily be removed from photographs. I work with you and your dog, and your comfort level. If you have a long line, I definitely recommend bringing it with you if you're unsure about having your dog off leash, but it is not required (and neither is your dog being off leash).

Do you require a deposit?

Yes - a $50.00 deposit is required to secure your date and time. A booking link is sent once we have settled on a date, which is when you sign the contract and pay your deposit.

What if my dog (pet) doesn't have a solid stay?

My own dog (Quest) releases at the sound of the shutter, so a solid stay is absolutely not required for a successful shoot. I love capturing candid and action shots, so the more movement the better! My camera also has a silent shutter option, which is great for dogs (like Quest) who like to move as soon as they hear the shutter sound.

Can we bring props?

Of course! Toys, props ⎯ whatever you would like to include!

How long does it take to receive photos?

Typically 2-4 weeks. You will receive sneak peaks within 24 hours of the session, and if there are any unexpected delays with the gallery being completed, I will keep you updated via email. Once the gallery is completed, you will receive a link to select your favourites. You are welcome to share the gallery with friends and family, to help you choose. Included in your session are 15 images, but you have the option to purchase additional images.

What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Typically, rescheduling must be done within 48 hours of the shoot; however, I understand that the weather in the PNW does not always cooperate. If the weather is not ideal day of, or if you (or myself) do not feel safe driving to the location, there will be a 1 [day of] reschedule permitted. I do not mind shooting in the rain or snow, but severe weather conditions can cause issues with my camera equipment ⎯ and not all pets enjoy being out in poor weather.

Do you have gift certificates available?

Yes! If you are interested in purchasing a shoot for a friend or family member, please send me an email via my contact form. I can provide gift certificates, and share a "pre-paid" booking link, where no deposit is required. Pre-paid photo sessions will include 15 photos, and the receiver is welcome to purchase additional photos once they receive their gallery link.

What is a pop-up Mini Session?

A "pop-up" Mini Session will be a specialized 20-45 minute session, typically location or seasonal based. These sessions will include 5-10 photos (depending on the duration of the shoot) for a reduced cost, with the option to purchase more. Mailing lists, or booking links, will be shared on both of my Instagram pages (@ourpacificnorthquest and @pacificnorthquest.media) when they are available. If you would like to be notified of any pop-up Mini Sessions, feel free to submit a request or contact me directly on IG! Please note: those on the mailing list will receiving the booking link first (approx. 48 hours before the dates are announced publicly).
